The key to Holliston's sustainability is right in the name of its primary product: cotton cloth material.

Cotton is grown in well-stewarded farmlands, employing the latest hybrid seed technologies which require minimal use of irrigation, herbicides, and pesticides. Even in the past 10 years, these technologies have greatly reduced our environmental impact.

But cotton's biggest advantage is evident every spring. That's because a new crop grows every year, as opposed to trees, which require upwards of 30 years to reach maturity. By switching to cotton for packaging and book cover materials, we can ensure consistent harvests, sustainable products, and a higher level of environmental responsibility.
